The First Lutheran Church has until Jan. 31st to raise as much money as possible for their Backpack Program.  Thrivent has pledged to match all funds raised by the church, dollar for dollar.  

 

Each week, the Arkansas Rice Depot provides food to be distributed to the over three-thousand children in Boone County schools enrolled in the free and reduced lunch program.  The goal of the First Lutheran Backpack Program is to provide these children with 2 or 3 pieces of fresh fruit each week.
