Identity of Driver Killed in Fiery Boone Co. Crash Unknown
The driver killed in a one vehicle fiery crash in northern Boone County yesterday remains unidentified, according to the Arkansas State Police. Trooper Billy M. Martin says the remains of the driver, who was declared dead at the scene of the 10:50 a.m. accident, has been sent to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for identification.
The accident, on State Highway 14 west of State Highway 281 occurred when the west bound driver of a 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass lost control of the vehicle which struck a tree. After impact, the vehicle caught fire and burned, according to the police report.
