The Downtown Branson Main Street Association is looking for Reuben Branson. The city of Branson was named for the man who opened a general store near Forsyth in the 1880s. The store later became a post office with its official address listed as Branson, Missouri. As part of the 100th birthday edition of Plumb Nellie Days in May, organizers are holding a Reuben Branson look-alike contest.
