A woman from Ozark, Missouri, will now stand trial in May in Stone County.

Forty-year-old Teresa Bunnell faces assault and armed criminal action charges in connection with an incident that occurred in May 2009.  At that time, a man covered in blood appeared at the Stone County Law Enforcement Center in Galena.  Medical personnel initially believed someone had shot him, but later determined he had a puncture wound to the eye.

Also facing charges in the case was Walter Baker and Walker Erwin.  Baker received a 15-year prison sentence after pleading guilty.  Erwin will stand trial next month.
