Incentives to help businesses and industry grow or relocate to this area will be the primary topic of a meeting of the Regional Economic Development Initiative, formerly called NCARED, Friday afternoon at 1 at the McMullin Lecture Hall at Arkansas State University Mountain Home.
Eddie Majeste, director of the Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce and administrator of the Regional Economic Development Initiative, also known as REDI, said state officials will be on hand during the hour-long meeting to provide information that could be beneficial to some existing businesses, as well as help attract new companies.

Majeste said AEDC officials would address what types of incentives are available and what local officials can do to assist firms looking at relocating.
