Flying Field Trip for Hollister Students; Partnership Provided by Branson Airport

It’s a field trip by air for Hollister High School juniors.  Members of the class will be flying to Atlanta later this month in a partnership program with the Branson Airport.  Principal Chris Ford says it is a way to highlight a career option for students to consider, while tying it with a writing assignment…

Flying Field Trip for Hollister Students; Partnership Provided by Branson Airport – Sally Kaucher

Ford says most of the students have never been on a plane.  Eighteen students at a time will take the trip, have lunch in Atlanta, and be back by 3 p.m.  A teacher and an administrator will be along for each flight with the first scheduled for next Wednesday.  Ford says the program may bring about partnerships with other area businesses.
