Harrison’s City Finance Director Gerald Ragland has turned in his resignation, but he will remain on the job until he finishes some items for the city.

The interim finance director is Michelle Bear, who has worked with Ragland for the past several months.  The mayor and city council members face some criticism in Bear’s placement due to a previous criminal conviction.  However, the city will advertise for a permanent replacement for Ragland.  They hope to have his replacement in place within the next 60-90 days.
