Northwest Arkansas Men Arrested in Marion Co. on Felony Child Pornography Charges
Two northwest Arkansas men have been arrested on felony charges from Marion County in two separate incidents of computer child pornography and unlawful use of a communication devices.
Sheriff Roger Vickers says 29 year old William Combs of Bentonville and 49 year old Michael Rood of Siloam Springs were arrested yesterday following on-line investigations with bond set at $50,000 each.
According to the Sheriff, Combs and Rood, separately, made contact and engaged in sexually explicit chats and sent pornographic images of themselves via the internet with a person who they believed was a 14 year old girl but was an undercover investigator from the Marion County Sheriff's department. Combs also sent pornographic images of himself via cell phone.
William Combs and Michael Rood are set to appear in Marion County Circuit Court Wednesday morning at 10.
