For the second year in a row, Miss Branson is the new Miss Missouri. 21 year old Drury University student Tippe Emmott was crowned Saturday night at the pageant at the Missouri Military Academy in Mexico.

In 2011, Evangel University student and Miss Branson Sydney Friar won the crown and advanced to the Miss America Pageant in Las Vegas.

The new Miss Missouri ran on a platform of, "Building Self-confidence to Achieve Success,"
