During road construction and maintenance operations, changed conditions can be extremely hazardous to motorist, especially motorcyclists. There are specific requirements in the Department of Transpiration (DOT) plans and specifications and in the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) for specific signage and maintenance of traffic. I have worked on numerous cases as an expert and I often find there is a problem with the traffic control plan (TCP) which affords the injured party a good cause (case) for action.
