A jury trial is set for June of next year in Henry County for a man from Ava, charged with killing a teenager from Republic.

Twenty-nine year old Christopher Jorgensen was charged with first degree murder, armed criminal action and abandonment of a corpse after the body of 17-year old Kenny Stout was found last December near the Ava Country Club with multiple stab wounds.  Jorgensen’s case was moved out of Douglas County on a change of venue.  Online court records indicate that as of Tuesday, Jorgensen is represented by a new attorney.  His trial is set for June 18^th.
