State police say an Arkansas couple is dead after an airborne deer struck by another vehicle crashed through the window of their car.
KTLO is reporting authorities say the crash happened Thursday morning on Arkansas 27 in south Arkansas. A preliminary report says a pickup struck the deer, which then flew through the air and landed on the car driven by 59-year-old Glenn Johnson of Nashville.
Johnson lost control of his car and crashed into the front doors of a Nashville building. State police say he was killed in the crash, along with his wife, 61-year-old Margaret Johnson. Two children, who were riding in the backseat, were injured in the collision and taken to Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock.
