Meetings are scheduled today at post offices in Kissee Mills and Kirbyville.
Officials with the U-S Postal Service are holding the informational meetings in rural communities across the nation to let customers know about reduced hours in the effort to keep the post offices open.
A meeting is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. today at the post office in Kissee Mills. There’s one at 3 o’clock at the Kirbyville Post Office. And a meeting will be held on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. at the post office in Lampe.
Also this month, meetings will be held in Ponce de Leon on the 26th at noon, and on the same day in Oldfield at 2 p.m.
On November 29th, meetings will be held at the Dora Post Office at 12:30 and in Taneyville at 3:30.
