An arraignment hearing is scheduled for a Colorado truck driver accused of second degree assault on a law enforcement officer in Christian County.

Nineteen-year-old Jesse De Jongh was arrested last month after allegedly stealing 700-dollars worth of fuel from a gas station on I-44. De Jongh allegedly tried to hit a sheriff’s deputy during a pursuit on U-S 65 that ended north of Branson near Busiek State Park.

De Jongh’s case is bound over for Circuit Court arraignment on December 7^th.
