A change in the wholesale cost of natural gas means customers of Summit Natural Gas of Missouri will see an increase of one cent per hundred cubic feet.
The Missouri Public Service Commission says the change reflects the Actual Cost Adjustment, which tracks costs over a 12-month period, then increases or decreases the rate the following year. According to the PSC, the change takes effect today.
Under the filing, Summit Natural Gas residential customers will now pay 63 cents per hundred cubic feet of natural gas.
Summit Natural Gas serves some 8-thousand customers inMissouri, including Stone andTaney Counties.
