Informational meetings are scheduled this week at area post offices to let customers know about a reduction in hours in the effort to keep the post offices open.
The meetings are being held in rural communities across the nation by the U-S Postal Service.
Meetings are scheduled today at noon in Ponce de Leon and at 2 o’clock in Oldfield.
In Arkansas, a meeting for customers of the Bergman post office will be held Tuesday at 5:30 at Ozark Baptist Church.
Meetings will also be held this Thursday at 12:30 in Dora and at 3:30 at the post office in Taneyville.
