The Harrison School Board has expelled a Harrison Junior High student for the remainder of the school year in connection with one of several recent bomb threats.
The Harrison Daily Times reports the decision came during a special meeting of the board, which approved the recommendation of Superintendent Mindy Moss. The 13-year-old boy and his mother appeared before the board during the closed session.
The student’s expulsion is for communicating a bomb threat at the junior high on November 13th. During November, there were two bomb threats at Harrison High School and two at the junior high.
