Harrison Student Expelled for Bomb Threat

The Harrison School Board has expelled a Harrison Junior High student for the remainder of the school year in connection with one of several recent bomb threats.

The Harrison Daily Times reports the decision came during a special meeting of the board, which approved the recommendation of Superintendent Mindy Moss.  The 13-year-old boy and his mother appeared before the board during the closed session.

The student’s expulsion is for communicating a bomb threat at the junior high on November 13th.  During November, there were two bomb threats at Harrison High School and two at the junior high.

Thats good they are doing something about these bomb threats. However, the way I understand it the high school student is still going to school after those bomb threats. If that is true, whats up with that?
