A man from Salem, Missouri is charged in connection with a shooting incident Tuesday morning at Fall Creek Resort.

Fifty-seven year old Jerry Weatherly is charged with first degree assault and armed criminal action.  According to Branson police, 54-year old Nick Ramirez of Branson was treated at a Springfield hospital for a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg.

Police say the two men were formerly co-workers, and the shooting incident stemmed from an ongoing dispute over employment.  

Weatherly is in the Taney County Jail with bond set at 100-thousand dollars.  He pleaded not guilty during his arraignment today in Taney County.  Weatherly's next court appearance is scheduled for December 4th.
