A man from Merriam Woods faces circuit court arraignment this week on eight counts of sexual abuse involving young siblings.
Fifty-two year old Michael Myers was bound over last week, with three of the original counts dismissed. Myers is now charged with three counts of first degree statutory sodomy, one count of statutory rape, three counts of enticement and attempted enticement of a child and sexual misconduct involving a child under the age of 15.
The charges allege that the two girls, who are now teenagers, were sexually abused on a daily basis in 2008 and 2009, when Myers resided in the same Branson apartment.
Myers’ circuit court arraignment is scheduled for Thursday. He remains in the Taney County Jail on 100-thousand dollars bond.
