The Branson West Police Department is participating in the statewide Holiday DWI Enforcement Campaign December 10th through the 16th. The department will increase enforcement efforts in an attempt to stop people from driving impaired.

Third and subsequent convictions can include penalties of up to $5,000, a 10-year license denial, and up to 7 years in jail. If you cause a fatal crash while intoxicated, you may face charges of involuntary manslaughter.
Last year in the State of Missouri, impaired drivers killed 234 people and seriously injured 945 people.
