Arkansas’ November jobless numbers are out, and the downward trend in statewide unemployment continues.
The figures released by the Arkansas Workforce Service Department indicate that seven percent of Arkansans are without work, compared to seven-point-two percent in October. In November of 2011, the jobless rate stood at seven-point-seven percent.
The latest individual county numbers available are for October. In Boone County, six-point-one percent of the workforce was without work, up a tenth of a percent from September. In Carroll County, the October rate was steady from the previous month at four-point-two percent.
