The Branson area was braced for some significant snowfall on Christmas Day – but it never came. The powerful storm system that moved through the area Tuesday missed the immediate area. But, according to the Drew Albert with the National Weather Service in Springfield, you didn’t have to go far to find considerable snow.
Albert says it’s still snowing in southeast Missouri this morning. What the system did leave behind was colder temperatures, with highs struggling to get to the low 40s by the weekend.
