A man from Republic faces sentencing in February after being found guilty inTaneyCountyof second degree robbery.
Thirty-seven year old Patrick Haubbert was found guilty after a November 30th bench trial before Circuit Judge Mark Orr, who had taken the cause under advisement.
Haubbert was found guilty of stealing a digital compass from the Branson Wal-Mart Supercenter in January of this year. According to the prosecuting attorney’s office, Haubbert knocked down one of three loss prevention employees as he tried to leave the store, and sped through the parking lot filled with pedestrians and other vehicles.
Haubbert faces a sentence of up to 15 years in prison.
