Healthy Weight Loss Is Aim of NARMs 'Take Off' Weight Management Class

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center is forming a new class geared towards weight loss.   

According to the hospital, now is the perfect time to get yourself in shape, shed unwanted pounds and start a fitness program. Starting a diet and a workout routine is easy; sticking with it is hard.  The hospital class wants to assist people in this process.

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center is currently taking reservations for its new "Take Off" Weight Management Class, to be held from January 7th through February 25th.

The weekly class will include:

* Weekly weight checks
* Individualized meal plans
* Exercise sessions
* Lipid panels to check your cholesterol levels, taken at the beginning and again 
   at the end of the program to chart your progress.
* Body composition measurements
* Healthy snacks
* Recipes to make life-long changes to your diet
* Nutrition topics presented weekly by registered dietitians
* Physical activity to follow

The class will be conducted Monday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in  North Arkansas Regional Medical Center’s Conference Room A, located at the North entrance of the hospital, which is located at 620 North Main in Harrison.
