It could be an icy morning in the area.

The National Weather Service has a freezing rain advisory in effect for the Branson area until 10 am. Motorists should watch for slick spots on the road especially on bridges and overpasses.

The service has also issued an advisory for freezing rain in central Arkansas, which would go on top of the up to ten inches of snow that fell on Christmas Day.
