A Branson woman is scheduled for a bench trial in January on charges in connection with a dispute last summer involving a knife.

Twenty-nine year old Jennifer Townsend is charged in a grand jury indictment with second degree domestic assault, armed criminal action and felonious restraint.  Townsend allegedly pulled a knife last August during an argument with a woman living in the home.  Police said the other woman was wounded when she tried to take the knife away.

Townsend remains in the Taney County Jail on 25-thousand dollars bond.
