Three teenage girls are being held in a juvenile detention facility in Batesville, Arkansas following an incident in Harrison on Thursday, when the girls, ages 15 and 13, reportedly attacked a school bus driver, a school resource officer as well as Harrison police officers who responded to the scene.

Assistant Police Chief Paul Woodruff says the girls have repeatedly caused problems on the bus by cursing and displaying rude behavior. He said the driver stopped the bus Thursday afternoon to call for help…

This is very sad to think that teenagers 15 and 13 would behavior like they did. I hope they get the help they need and are placed in a home where they have structure and have rules to go by. I know these girls and they have had a rough childhood BUT thats no excuse for acting out like this.

We can blame the parents, the school, a government agency but ultimately the responsibility for an individuals actions is the individuals. These girls deserve the consequences to their actions. I hope through this process they also find the help they need. I appreciate our public servants that give everyday for our care and safety. My prayers are for the bus driver, our police officers involved, these girls and all the families affected by this incident.
