Mercy is building a medical center in Branson. They have purchased the Branson Inn, located at U-S 65 and Highway 248. 

Senior Vice President of Market Growth and Development at Mercy, Dr. Rob Steele, says Mercy is constructing a 62-thousand square-foot, multi-specialty clinic offering a variety of services:

Steele says Mercy will bring new jobs to the area. He said the demolition of Branson Inn will start soon and should be complete by mid spring. There is no official start date for construction, but Steele says it will take about 18 months, and anticipates it to be completed in fiscal year 2014.
