Business Development Director Jonas Arjes of the Taney County Business Development Partnership says now the work begins to inform businesses how they can use the program… Enhanced Enterprise Zone Approved for Taney County – Sally Kaucher Arjes says the goal is to bring good jobs to the county, particularly year-round jobs… The Enhanced Enterprise Zone covers the county and eight municipalities, including Branson, Bull Creek, Forsyth, Hollister, Kirbyville, Merriam Woods, Rockaway Beach, and Taneyville. The EEZ would provide local tax abatement of up to 50% on improvements to real property for up to 10 years. That would apply to businesses adding at least two new jobs paying more than the average wage in the county and making a capital investment of at least $100,000.
