The Enhanced Enterprise Zone covers the county and eight municipalities, including Branson, Bull Creek, Forsyth, Hollister, Kirbyville, Merriam Woods, Rockaway Beach, and Taneyville.
The EEZ would provide local tax abatement of up to 50% on improvements to real property for up to 10 years. That would apply to businesses adding at least two new jobs paying more than the average wage in the county and making a capital investment of at least $100,000.
