Farmers and ranchers in northwest Arkansas and southwest Missouri are eligible for assistance following a disaster declaration due to the drought.  Stone, Taney, Ozark, and Barry Counties are eligible because they are contiguous to primary disaster areas declared in Boone, Carroll, and 45 other Arkansas counties.  Matt Herrick with the USDA says a loan program is the only assistance currently available…
