Snowfall Totals in Arkansas

Tuesday’s snowfall in Arkansas ranged from just a trace in some areas, to as much as 4-inches in portions of Newton County.

The snow caused numerous traffic accidents and shut down roads in Marion County, where 2-inches of snow was reported in Yellville. Two-and a half to three inches of snow fell in the Mountain Home area in adjacent Baxter County.

Snowfall totals in Newton County, Arkansas ranged from an inch in Jasper to 3 inches in Limestone and Mt. Judea, and 4 inches at Deer.

Only a trace of snow fell in Harrison in Boone County.
