Harrison Students Permanently Expelled for Attack on Bus Driver

Three Harrison school students are permanently expelled for their part in an alleged attack on a bus driver and a police officer.

At a closed session of the Harrison school board Tuesday, board members heard from administrators, the students, and their parents.

After the hearing, the board voted unanimously to permanently expel the three girls, a 13-year-old junior high student and two 15-year-olds from the high school.

Allegedly, the three created a disturbance on a school bus and when asked to stop, they attacked the bus driver. Then, when police were called, the girls attacked the officers as well.

Good for the Harrison School Board. Maybe this will show others that things like this aren't acceptable. Sad but necessary in this day and time when parents aren't allowed to correct their kids without the fear of DHS getting involved. As a kid growing up, my siblings and I knew if we misbehaved at school or on the way home we would get a spanking and grounded. We might even get another spanking when dad got home from work too. But kids know thats not going to happen nowdays. Very sad.

Maybe if parents didnt have to fear getting in trouble these students might have gotten a good spanking when they deserved it and kids might learn more respect
