Lawrence County authorities say cattle rustlers have hit the area again.

The sheriff’s office reports eight calves disappeared from a farm during the overnight hours Tuesday. 

Authorities say the thieves cut fences and gates through four fields to gain access to the cattle.

Last week, more than two dozen head were taken from a farm in Marionville.

If you see any suspicious activity, day or night around cattle areas, you should report it to your nearest law enforcement office.
