A man from Monett is sentenced to 3 years in federal prison followed by 5 years of supervised release for possessing cartoons depicting child pornography.
Thirty-six-year-old Christjan Bee pleaded guilty to possessing images depicting sexual abuse of children. A release from the U-S Attorney for the Western District of Missouri states pornographic cartoons found on Bee’s computer are categorized as obscene and therefore illegal. Bee’s wife reported the pornographic images to police.
The case was investigated by the Southwest Missouri Cybercrimes Task Force and the Monett Police Department.
