A Baxter County, Arkansas man has been charged in connection with a burglary that took place January 20th in the Norfork area.
Baxter County Sheriff John Montgomery’s office received a report that a residence had been broken into while the homeowners were in church. About $3,200 worth of items were taken, including two guns, jewelry, a coin collection, a TV set and cash. An investigation revealed that one of the guns had been taken to a pawn shop in Mountain Home. As a result, deputies took 20 year old William Herren into custody Monday on two counts of theft of property. Herren bonded out and has a court appearance scheduled for February 7th.
The investigation into the incident continues, and an additional arrest is expected.
