The Taney County Commission plans to hold meetings across the county as a way of bringing the eastern and western portions together.  Presiding Commissioner Ron Houseman says it’s been one of his priorities since taking office two years ago:

Houseman says because Taney County’s population is so diverse, there’s some distrust between those who live in the rural areas and residents of the Branson and Hollister area.  Houseman wants to begin next month to work on scheduling those meetings.
