Stone County Sheriff Doug Rader says a knife was used in the murder Paul and Margaret Brooks in a lake home in Lampe last Thursday. 

Sheriff’s deputies arrested two juveniles at the scene.  The pair was charged Monday with first-degree murder, armed criminal action, and burglary.   Rader says, the two youths were reported as runaways from the “Lives Under Construction Boys Ranch” in Lampe, two days prior to the homicides.  He says his department was actively searching for the runaways…

The juveniles remain in the Greene County Jail.  A judge will decide later to try them as adults.
