 Missing Man Found Dead at Campsite By: Wayne Powell A report of a missing Eureka Springs man ended with the discovery of his body. According to reports, an Arkansas Game and Fish officer discovered the body of 42-year-old William Stirnes late Monday night at a campsite. The man’s girlfriend, Jennifer Simmons, reported him missing February 1st saying she was supposed to meet him after work that day, but he never showed up. She said she went to his resident and found his wallet and cell phone, but his vehicle was not there. She asked mutual friends for help and they told her about his favorite camping site. She and a friend attempted to go to the campsite but were unable to cross Kings River to access the site. She told Eureka Springs’ officers about the campsite and they enlisted the help of the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission who sent the officer who discovered Stirnes’ body. The Carroll County Sheriff’s office is now investigating the case and they have sent the man’s body to the state coroner’s office for autopsy.

there is more to this, and i hope that we find out soon, cause a man just dont go to a camp site and just die, the know on his head and the bursing on his hand the the teeth marks look like he had been in a fight, william was a good man. he would give you the shirt off his back if he had to, we always came up every summer to spend a week with him. he was apart of our family. we love ans miss you william , i hope we get closuer on this soon, to help us all heel , pray for his mother and the rest of the family,
