The hiring of Bret Bielema as Arkansas’ new head coach was a great coup for the university that has paid dividends almost immediately.
One of those immediate dividends is possibly a four-star recruit from Florida, which has not historically been a recruiting ground for Arkansas. However, the recruit’s mother doesn’t want her baby to go to school so far away.
According to a report from ESPN, Alex Collins’ mom took off with his national letter of intent before he could fax them to the university yesterday. Collins’ high school said he had delayed sending in his letter because his family wanted more time for due diligence.
