A large turnout Thursday for the first 2013 team rally for the Relay For Life of Taney and Stone Counties.  Relay for Life is a rundraising program for the American Cancer Society.  Event Chair, Lisa Wilfong, says it's more than a fundraising campaing, its a program to celebrate cancer survivorship:

The Relay for Life event will be held on June 7^th at Cedar Ridge Track at Branson Elementary School. It brings together people from all walks of life and is aimed at celebrating the lives of those who have had cancer and those who have been lost to the disease.
