The office of the Taney County Treasurer reports sales tax received this month from the state, reflecting activity for the period ending January 20, is up nearly 14-percent compared to the same time last year.
The county received more than 1-point-6 million dollars in sales tax from the state, compared to 1-point-4 million at the same time a year ago.
General County Revenue for 2013 is 1-point-14 million dollars, compared to 1-point-11 million in February of 2012, or 2-point-39 percent higher.
