A northwest Arkansas woman is in the Benton County Jail in connection with the shooting death of the husband on Sunday.

Benton County Sheriff Kelley Cradduck reports the body of 34-year-old Evan Fleck was found in his home in Gentry with a gunshot wound to the head.

Cradduck says Susan Fleck called to report the shooting then fled to Oklahoma. Susan Authorities captured Fleck in Delaware County and extradited her to Benton County Monday.

Reports indicate the Fleck’s four children were in the home at the time of the shooting, and Susan Fleck left them behind when she fled. The children range in age from seven to 15 and are now in the custody of the Department of Human Services.
