The Berryville City Council met Tuesday night with a few items on the agenda.

A public hearing was held in February regarding the rezoning request submitted by Carroll County Judge Sam Barr. The Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously to deny the request.

In new business the request for the use of the Public Square was submitted by the Berryville Chamber of Commerce for the “Spring Farm, Flower & Garden Show” to be held ob Saturday, April 27 from 9 am. until 4 p.m.

The mayor reported that the Highway Department will be meeting this Thursday.

Jay Lee, Admin. Assistant with the City of Berryville says they will be discussing the widening of Highway 62.
