Authorities in Barry County have released the identity of the woman killed in a house fire east of Monett.

Monett Rural Firefighters were called to the home early Saturday morning. It was already fully engulfed in flames.

The fire took the life of 82 year old Katherine Hogenmiller. Authorities say there was no evidence of foul play or suspicious circumstances. The cause of the fire is undetermined.

Family members told authorities that Hogenmiller’s husband had died last month, and Friday was the first time she had stayed in the home for several days.
