A Stone County man faces a felony charge of possession with the intent to distribute marijuana. Sheriff’s deputies and the COMET drug taskforce served a search warrant Wednesday at the home of 71-year-old Robert Smith on Double-O Highway near Kimberling City.

Sheriff Doug Rader says they confiscated more than 5 pounds of marijuana from the residence along with $5,000 in cash and paraphernalia used to package and sell marijuana.

Smith is in the Stone County Jail on $50,000 bond.
