A program sponsored by Jesus Was Homeless in Branson is focused on teaching those in need how to help themselves out of poverty.
Co-Founder and Executive Director Bryan Stallings says Jobs for Life is a national program that is currently operating in 38 states. It consist of 16 sessions that teach men and women timeless biblical principles concerning the value of work and the ways those values are applied in the marketplace.
Stallings says, participants will be matched with one-on-one mentors from within the business community, who will walk side-by-side with them and offer encouragement and coaching.
The Jobs for Life program indicate that 80-percent of the program graduates stay employed for a year or longer nationwide.
Jobs for Life will begin in May and Jesus Was Homeless is seeking partnerships from within the business community.
