A 21-year-old Branson man faces charges from the armed robbery at Lakeland Pharmacy. Authorities issued the warrant Thursday for Mason Seigal Scott of Branson for first-degree robbery.
According to a probable cause statement, Scott entered the Lakeland Pharmacy at 1232 Branson Hills Parkway Wednesday and displayed a silver semi automatic handgun. He allegedly pointed the firearm at pharmacy employees and demanded they produce narcotics.
Police say Scott provided an employee with a backpack and insisted they fill the bag with Fentenol and Oxyconton. Once they filled the bag, he fled on foot. Video cameras at the business captured his actions.
Scott was arrested a short time later in a wooded area nearby. Scott is in the Taney County jail on $100,000 bond.
