Carroll & Madison Library System Receives $6000 from Cornerstone Bank’s Centennial Giving
On behalf of Cornerstone Bank’s Centennial contributions, $6000 was presented to the Carroll and Madison Public Library Foundation forfunding of the OverDrive ebook and audio download library available in all six libraries in the library region.
The Carroll and Madison Administrator, Jean Elderwind, Cindy George, Foundation Treasurer, and Kathy McCormick, Foundation President, accepted the donation which will enable the libraries to expand their services with audiobooks and eBooks all available to download from each library’s website. On behalf of Cornerstone Bank’s 100th year of operation, the bank is giving back $100,000 to the communities they serve throughout their centennial year. Charlie Cross, President & CEO of Cornerstone Bank states, “This donation will allow many resources to be tapped electronically throughout our surrounding communities anytime, anywhere. This is our way of saying thank you to the Carroll and Madison Library System for the 100 years of loyalty and support given to Cornerstone Bank.”
