The Western Taney County Fire District Haz-Mat team cleaned up a fuel spill yesterday morning following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 165 near Table Rock Dam.
No one was injured. However, the crash damaged the fuel tank on a box truck, causing the release of diesel fuel onto the roadway. Firefighters spent about two hours applying absorbent material.
MoDOT crews also responded with additional resources and remained on scene to ensure the roadway was safe for vehicle traffic.
