Raeanne Presley won a fourth term as Mayor of Branson. She was first elected mayor in 2007. She also served as a City Alderwoman from 1985 to 1995.

Hometown Daily News spoke with Presley shortly after the precinct votes were counted Tuesday evening. When asked what we can expect in the future for Branson, she says the City has laid a good foundation with the community plan. She says there is a lot of good input given through that process:

Presley says she is honored to serve as mayor and credits the City aldermen as setting the tone for what they think are important for the community and the City staff for all the work they do at City Hall.

She referenced no new sales tax in 6-years and community oriented policing as a few accomplishments achieved during her tenure. Presley says in spite of a couple of floods, a tornado and downturn in the economy she says there are plenty of things to be proud of.
